Rapid progress is being made in elucidating the biology of primary tumors, but the mechanisms of metastasis and invasion remain only partially understood. This meeting will focus on recent advances in our knowledge of basic molecular pathways of invasion, migration and immune surveillance and how that knowledge can be translated into new clinical concepts for diagnosis and therapy.
